Every machine on this page bends with a hydraulic cylinder and feeds with servo drives. That combination is deliberate: the two axes where error accumulates across a multi-bend part are under program control, and the axis that needs force gets it from oil rather than from an oversized motor.
Five models cover 1 inch to 6 inch pipe. Feed and rotation hold ±0.1 mm and ±0.1°, the control stores 500 part programs, and every machine produces up to 30 bends in a single automatic cycle.
Select by Pipe Size and Schedule
Machine ratings state the largest diameter at a given wall. Because bending force scales with the section of the pipe, a smaller diameter allows a proportionally thicker wall — which is why the DWCNC50 handles 1 inch Schedule 160, and why a machine rated Ø114 cannot handle 4 inch Schedule 40.

Check the maximum radius column as well as the capacity. Rotary draw bending covers roughly up to 4D on most of these sizes. If your drawing calls for 5D or 10D sweeps, no machine on this page is the right tool — that work belongs on an induction bender or a roll bender, and we will say so.
Why the Bend Axis Is Hydraulic
At Ø168 mm and 8 mm wall the torque required to draw the pipe around the die is substantial. A hydraulic cylinder delivers it from a 30 kW pump at 12 MPa. Producing the same force through servo drives means large motors and heavy reduction gearing, and the cost climbs well beyond what the application justifies.
There is no accuracy penalty, because the bend axis is not where part geometry is decided. Feed length and rotation plane determine where each bend lands and in which plane, and both are servo-controlled. Bend speed remains adjustable up to 45 or 60°/sec depending on model.
Below about Ø38 mm the economics reverse. At small sections a servo bend axis is affordable and considerably faster — see the electric range for that work.
What CNC Control Changes
On an NC bender the operator sets feed length and rotation by hand between bends. Here both run from the stored program, so part-to-part variation comes down to machine repeatability rather than operator consistency.
The payback differs by size. On 1 and 2 inch work it is throughput — the smaller machines feed at 1,000 mm/sec and rotate at 250°/sec, and high-volume furniture, handrail and exhaust work is priced on cycle time. On 4 and 6 inch pipe it is scrap: a 6-metre length of Schedule 40 is expensive, and one indexing error on the fourth bend of a multi-bend spool writes off the whole piece.
Floor Space and Power
These machines range from 1.8 tonnes and 7.1 kW on the DWCNC50 to 13 tonnes and 45.5 kW on the DWCNC168. The smaller models position with a forklift; the larger ones need crane access and a check on floor loading.
All of them need clear run-out at both ends for full-length pipe — allow well beyond the machine footprint. Note also that the DWCNC114 and DWCNC130 share a bed and the same overall dimensions, so stepping up from 3 inch to 4 inch capacity costs no additional floor space.
Tooling Is Part of the Purchase
Each machine ships with one complete die set for a specified pipe OD and bend radius — bend die, clamp die, pressure die, wiper die and mandrel. Die sets are size and radius specific, so a machine covering three pipe sizes needs three sets.
At larger diameters tooling becomes a significant share of the total, which is why a machine quote without tooling is not a comparable quote.
